There are certain tips for staying safe and slowing the spread of COVID -19 while arranging service or repairs inside the home. This may include installation and repair of sanitation, electrical, heating, or air-cooling system, painting, or cleaning services.
On the whole, the closer and longer you interact with others, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread. Limiting close face-to-face interaction and staying at least 6 feet away from other people is the best way to decrease the risk of COVID-19 contagion, along with wearing masks and practicing everyday preventive actions. Before welcoming service providers into your home, consider these tips to assist you and keep you, your family, and the service provider safe during in-home services or repairs.
Before the Visit:
• Plan how you will direct the person through your home, and where to suggest he place his tools. You want to ensure that he does not go into rooms or touch stuff in your house needlessly.
• Pre-cleaning the area where the laborer will be based, with a cleaner known to kill the virus. That protects the service professional, even if you are not conscious of it.
• You can also place a floor guard: disposal paper or plastic, or a washable sheet on which the worker can walk and place his tools. You can clean under there afterward.
• Have hand soap and cleaners ready. You can offer them to the service worker before and after the work is done. You will sanitize the washbasin later.
During the Visit:

• If you’d like to thank the worker, put the cash in a wrapped packet and place it on a surface for him to pick up. You can also ask for the laborer’s name so that you can compose a compliment via social media or a follow-up communication with the organization.
After the Visit:
• Wash your hands once more.
• Clean where the servicer was working.
